The closest thing is supreme commander forged alliance.
Planetary annihilation and Bar are also some what close.
They're similar whit the settings and the economy.
Forged alliance and bar are stil played to this day and you can find most of the team once a week on forged alliance whit the community mod of faf.
For faf the game is different whit the story a bit less units. The game is getting old 2006. Weaker commander. A different time of teaching up. And maybe more but I need to see the finished game to tell!
