Do you like playing real time strategy games that are available on multiple platforms because it gives you the opportunity to play the game on any system that's more accessible to you? If so, Castle Empire is such real time strategy game you would love to play.

It combines castle management, alliance leadership, and tower defense elements which gives you the opportunity to build your own empire and conquer the world.

The game is also free to play. You don't have to worry about spending money on buying the Castle Empire.

I tried Castle Empire once and really liked it. It is a solid mix of strategy and fun. But I don’t play it now because I already have other RTS games I am invested in, and my gaming time is also limited. Still, its accessibility and free-to-play model are great features for someone who want to try RTS.

It's a very common thing to occur with some of the RTS games someone used to play especially when they are free. If it's one which someone paid money for, they are less likely to drop the game as long it's not bad.

I don't think people stop playing a game just because they did not spend money on it and I also don't think people continue to play the game because they have heavily invested in. A lot of people stop playing games, even their loved game because they develop different taste.

All of them are part of the reasons someone would stop or start playing any particular game. The only thing to look at would be which one did it for any specific individual when he either stopped or started playing any RTS game.

Castle Empire is a game that seems to be a good choice for the RTS lovers. In this game, you would have to make a lot of decision and that is what makes it a lot more challenging. Another thing is that the cross platform compatibility is a big advantage since a player can switch from one device to another.
