What catches my attention the most is the care given to the troops and their development, I think it is the best that an RTS video game can develop, that and the variety of resources or how to use them, it makes you think a lot your strategies.

I would say that my favorite is Warcraft 3, which gave way to the acclaimed World of Warcraft after the great success of these RTS, Warcraft 1 and 2 were not bad at all, but 3 was the one that left the best taste in my mouth, and also It was the one I played the most.

My weak point I would say is resource management, I have never been the best at managing resources and sometimes I end up wasting them, it also depends on the difficulty of obtaining them, but in general, I consider that to be my aspect to improve.
