The developers are including co-op Multiplayer with this new version which will complement the already existing story Campaign and its main Survival gameplay mode. There are now more heroes and units, as well as hardships which is a unique game concepts to this game.
The main idea of this game is about surviving the enemy horrors and monsters. But you can experience it in different ways whether you play in the campaign or survival mode. The maps offer room for both base building and placing lots of defences along with exploration which you have to do with your hero and armies to interact with the world to stop the enemies from coming back.
